The Pioneer Wound Health and Lymphoedema Centre delivers a NHS service in wound healing and lymphoedema for patients in the Sussex area who are referred to them via their GP.

In early 2023, Roger Widdowson of The Pioneer Wound Health and Lymphoedema Centre approached us to undertake a project at their Crawley premises, which involved the supply, installation, and project management of work at their clinical and training centre.

The site of the new clinic is ideally situation near Gatwick and will be a training hub for visitors from around the world.

We proactively collaborated with our clients after they purchased their new premises and listened to their design requirements for the new clinic.

The project work we undertook involved transforming a large open plan area of previously used office space into a new clinical centre, and included the following:

• • Flooring.

• • Airconditioning.

• • Glass partitioning.

• • Hygipods.

• • Hygiene panels.

• • Electrical works: power, lighting, reconfiguration.

• • Smoke Detection and Intruder Alarms.

• • Decorating.

• • A Tea Making Area.

• • A Staff Welfare Are including a Kitchen with integrated appliances and a boiler tap.

• • A new Disabled Toiled on the ground floor.

• • New Suited Locks throughout the building.

• • A new Digilock system for Critical Areas.

• • A Sluice Room.

• • 10 Clinical Rooms.

• • 2 Consultant Rooms.

• • A Procedure Room complete with an interconnecting Sterile Room.

• • A new Reception Area and numerous Waiting Areas.

We carried out the extensive work at the wound clinic to an extremely high standard and to the complete satisfaction of our client.
